We all know how to use our GPS to guide us and to follow walking paths that we find online. But what happens when the GPS signal fails, or the mobile battery gets empty and that we are in the middle of nowhere without indications and without knowing how to use a map?

We'll go to Centelles. We have prepared a session to teach you how to use a map and a compass in order to find out where you are and where you should go. This session is divided into 2 parts. A first informative part to learn to read a map correctly and to use a compass and a second part which consists in a game of orientation. The idea is to learn and have fun at the same time.

Then, we can decide to go have a drink or tapas together.

Difficulty: easy. Suitable for anyone who can walk in the mountains for 3 hours. Some parts are slippery.

How do we get there?  By shared private cars from Barcelona. During the booking process you’ll be invited to tell us if you have a car and how many people can come with you in the car. Each passenger will pay €10 to the driver to cover gas and tolls expenses. You can also meet us on the spot at 9:00 AM.

Bring A orienteering compass, a mobile phone with full battery, walking shoes (some parts can be slippery - come with appropriate shoes), grab something to eat, snack (nuts, banana, cereal bar, or whatever you want) and drink (1,5 liter of water minimum)

Cancellation policy: if cancellation till 72h before the beginning of the activity, 50% will be charged. If late cancellation (less than 72h before), full payment will be requested.

Ya estamos tod@s acostumbrados a utilizar nuestros GPS para orientarnós y seguir rutas que encontramos por internet. ¿Pero que pasa cuando falla la señal GPS, o la bateria del movíl y que nos encontramos en el medio de la nada sin indicaciones y sin saber úbicarnós en un mapa?

Irémos a Centelles donde existen circuitos de orientación al aire libre muy interesantes. Os he preparado una sesión para enseñarnós a orientarnós utilizando un mapa y una brújula. Esta sesión se divide en 2 partes. Una primera parte informativa para aprender a leer un mapa correctamente y a utilizar una brújula y una segunda parte que consiste en un juego de orientación. La idea es de aprender y divertirse al mismo tiempo.

Despuès podémos decidir juntos de ir a tomar/comer algo por la zona:)

Nivel de dificultad: facil. Iniciación. Apto para cualquier persona que puede caminar en montaña durante 3 horas. Algunas partes pueden rezbalar.

¿Cómo llegaremos ahí? Compartiendo coches particulares desde Barcelona. En el proceso de reserva, te preguntaremos si tienes un coche y cuántas personas pueden ir contigo. Cada pasajero le pagará al conductor €10 para cubrir gastos de peajes y gasolina. También puedes encontrarnos directamente allí a las 09h00.

Qué llevar: un telefono movil con bateria llena, una brújula de placa, zapatos para caminar (algunos tramos pueden rezbalar - venir con zapatos apropriados), algo para comer, picar (frutos secos, platano, barra de cereales, o lo que querais) + 1,5 litro de agua mínimo.

Cancelaciones: si cancelas hasta 72 h antes de la actividad, 50% son debidos. En caso de cancelación de última hora (menos de 72 h), el importe total será requerido.
